Terms of Use – DuoTake

Last updated: October 9, 2026

1. About these terms

DuoTake is provided by Adriano Souza Costa. These terms govern your use of its capture and content-creation features. The applicable App Store terms and Apple Standard EULA also govern the app license; nothing here removes mandatory consumer rights.

2. Features and availability

DuoTake combines front and rear camera views in photos or videos. Pro also supports imported images, videos and HTTPS web-page captures, and Premium Teleprompter supports scripts during recording. Auto captions and Remove silences work on videos in the local gallery. Captions are generated automatically and may contain mistakes, and silence detection may cut or keep moments you did not expect; review the result before publishing. Caption languages depend on what iOS supports on your device. Features depend on your device, installed version, permissions, storage and system conditions. Web-page loading, the first download of a language’s speech model and Apple purchase services require connectivity; external pages or formats may not always work.

3. Free features and Pro

The current free plan includes recordings up to 15 seconds and auto captions in the Classic style. Pro includes longer recordings, every caption style, Remove silences, automatic saving to Photos, sharing without the temporary watermark, content imports and Premium Teleprompter. Review the in-app offer before buying for the features, duration, price and any trial conditions that apply to your purchase.

4. Subscriptions, cancellation and refunds

Purchases are billed to your Apple Account after confirmation. An auto-renewing subscription renews unless canceled before renewal under the terms displayed by Apple. Manage or cancel it in Settings → your name → Subscriptions; see Apple Support. Deleting DuoTake does not cancel a subscription. If a trial is offered, its conversion and billing terms appear before confirmation. Restore eligible purchases using the same Apple Account. Refund requests can be submitted to Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com, subject to applicable rights and Apple’s process.

5. Your content and third-party rights

You retain your rights to original content you create. You are responsible for having permission to capture, import, record and share other people’s images, voices, scripts, videos and web content. Access to a public URL does not grant reuse rights. Do not use the app to violate privacy, copyright or other rights, bypass access restrictions, or create unlawful content. Third-party services have their own terms; DuoTake does not endorse or control their content.

6. Permissions, privacy and local files

Grant only the permissions you need and review the Privacy Policy for data handling. Review recordings before publishing and keep backups of important files. Copies exported to Photos or other services are managed separately from the local gallery. Removing the app or files can cause loss of local content.

7. License and intellectual property

DuoTake’s software, branding and interface belong to the developer or their licensors. You may use the app within the applicable license, but may not copy, redistribute, circumvent its protections or reverse engineer it except where allowed by law or the license. These restrictions do not transfer ownership of your original recordings to the developer.

8. Warranties and liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the app is provided as available without a guarantee of uninterrupted or error-free operation. Device heat, storage, interruptions and external services may affect capture. The developer is not liable for losses to the extent lawfully excluded by the applicable license. Nothing in these terms excludes statutory warranties, consumer remedies or liability that cannot legally be excluded.

9. Changes and ending use

You can stop using and remove the app at any time; manage subscriptions separately with Apple. We may revise these terms to reflect product or legal changes and will update the date on this page. Additional notice or consent will be provided when required. Changes do not remove rights that apply to purchases already made.
